Welcome to the
Hunter Valley Vineyard Association
The HVVA is active in the promotion of Hunter Valley wines in association with wine tourism. We are also active in worker safety and facilitate an annual blood testing programme. Technical viticultural seminars are held regularly.
The Association is the peak Hunter wine & winegrape industry body and is a reference point for both State & Federal Government and non-government organisations to obtain input from the industry. An active lobby function is carried out on behalf of the industry in accordance with the Objects of the Association.
Vineyard and winemaking research is undertaken by the HVVA in conjunction with the NSW Department of Agriculture and wine industry research facilities. Licensing and development issues are closely monitored by the HVVA.
